M5
M2 Ø4mm Zirconia ball styli, carbon fiber stem, L 30 mm, EWL 30 mm
Straight styli are designed to inspect simple features where direct, unobstructed contact with a measured surface is possible. A Carbon Fiber stem is very lightweight and ideal for applications where weight is critical. Zirconia is a tough ceramic material with hardness and wear characteristics approaching those of ruby. Its surface properties make it an ideal material for aggressive scanning applications on cast iron components.

M3 180° 1/2 star stylus, Ø3 mm silicon nitride ball, carbon fiber stem, ML 31 mm, for Zeiss applications
M3 1/2 star stylus XXT 180° thermostable.
Equivalent to Zeiss part number: 626103-0314-040.
Note:Â measurement length is to end of ball.
Straight styli are designed to inspect simple features where direct, unobstructed contact with a measured surface is possible. A Carbon Fiber stem is very lightweight and ideal for applications where weight is critical. Silicon nitride is similar to ruby in terms of its physical properties. Its lower coefficient of friction makes it ideal for use with most scanning applications, particularly aluminum parts. Silicon nitride is not recommended for scanning cast iron due to abrasive wear.
